This is the story of Michelle Leeuwis; 29 years old, married and mother of 2 children (third on the way). Michelle had been working at Alfa Accounts for 7 years, on her way to her dream job as an accountant, when she dropped out due to fatigue issues.

"After several examinations, I received my diagnosis. My health continued to deteriorate and I tried several times to reintegrate, unfortunately without success. When it turned out that I could no longer handle my current job, it came as a blow."

I am now employed as a financial administrator at a garage company. A versatile position in which I have a variety of duties, but where the workload is lower and there are fewer deadlines. My new employer is located in my hometown, so I can bike to work and have less travel time."

Michelle was tipped off within her network about a suitable vacancy. After several job interviews, a period of secondment was agreed upon. "In the first period I accrued my hours and then I officially joined the company. Because my old employer was open to a secondment contract, and thanks to the trust of my current employer, I got where I am today. I am very grateful to them for this opportunity!
