Daily Occupational Assessor examines the factors of work, people and income. So a Occupational Assessor looks not only at the person, but also at the environment, the work and how they affect each other. What position does a person hold and what specifically does a person have to do in a work day? What are the demands of the job? What resources does someone have available? By listening carefully and getting the facts out during the examination, the Occupational Assessor analyzes the situation. Only then can the Occupational Assessor make an accurate diagnosis and provide targeted advice on next steps. Prevent

Prevention is a mostly under-researched branch of the Occupational Assessor. This requires a thorough analysis of both the load in the job and the individual factors present. What is the workload capacity as determined by a doctor? Where are the bottlenecks in the work? How does the employer view this? How does the employee view his situation? How does he deal with his limitations, also in everyday life? By looking at all the elements, the Occupational Assessor reaches an opinion and advice.

The Occupational Assessor is ideally placed to advise on the next steps toward recovery. But it can go beyond advising. In fact, there are several employment experts who take on a coaching role.
