There is also a growing need for coaching with all the outside influences you see coming through your feed of your social media channels, among other things. You also hear it more and more in the news, where lately coaching has been seen in a lesser light because anyone can become a coach. In my opinion, that's not necessarily a problem. As a coach, it's important to have a click with your client, regardless of some piece of paper.

In my view, you determine the question for help together with the client and use this to start the conversation in which you act as a sounding board. Ultimately, the client usually comes up with his or her own solution to the problem, and as a coach you ask the right questions to arrive at that answer. I find that back and forth game one of the best things about coaching programs. If you then as coach monitor the progress and keep challenging your client to continue the change or development, it is very satisfying."
