Sandra's success story

Through my employer I came in contact with Sandra Sterk of Puls in April 2018. At that time, I had been on sick leave for over a year and a half and a 2nd track pathway had to be initiated.

Career switch?

Unfortunately, there was no prospect of returning to my current work or doing modified work at the same company.

I was on sick leave because of depression and burnout. I am also highly sensitive. During my period of sickness I followed all kinds of coaching, training and courses about depression and HSP. I also went through a major transformation.

So my desire began to grow to assist other women who were going through the same thing I was. I wanted to make a career switch and start my own coaching practice for highly sensitive women.

Logged on to Puls

Since I had been on sick leave for 1.5 years, my employer had to start a suitable reintegration program. I needed someone to advise me on starting my own business while I was on sick leave. I made this known and discussed it with my employer, the company doctor and Occupational Assessor. I had no idea what to expect from a reintegration program and had the idea that my plan of starting my own business might not be an option. I was registered at Puls for an initial interview with Sandra Sterk.

A good advisor

There was an immediate click between us. Sandra is very friendly, practical and respectful in her approach and approach. She paid attention not only to the area of reintegration, but also to me as a person and my private life. This I experienced as very pleasant. Sandra informed me very well and clearly about the reintegration process and her role in it.

I told her about my plan to start my own practice and my question if there was a possibility to realize that in our trajectory together. I immediately noticed that Sandra is very knowledgeable and could inform and advise me well about the possibilities I had to start for myself.

She also asked many questions which also gave me a good idea about myself and the feasibility of my plan. This gave me the final push of self-confidence and I decided that I would start for myself. That day we made an outline of actions I would take including making a business plan.

Sandra also gave very good advice on how to communicate my decision back to my employer so that we could work together to see how to move forward.

Focus on the dream!

Eventually, I entered into a settlement agreement with my employer where we agreed together that my contract was terminated.

The short-term process with Sandra has given me focus on my next step, confidence and peace of mind.

By now I can proudly say that I have started my own practice called Every Day Happy. Thank you so much Sandra, this really helped me.
