Imagine: you have enjoyed working for the same employer for 17 years; until you suddenly drop out due to physical complaints. That's something to swallow.

It happened to Freddy, a 45-year-old Prosthesis employee from IJsselmuiden. At the beginning of the corona crisis, he started a 2nd track-trajectory at Puls.

Despite the fact that the counseling took place differently than usual, namely remotely, the first results were soon visible: there was weekly contact via (video) phone and e-mail and on the basis of various tests and exercises, consultant and Freddy got a good picture of his interests and qualities. Eventually, consultant and Freddy found the perfect job: student transportation driver. This perfectly matched Freddy's interests: because the work was tied to school hours, sufficient rest could be built into the working days. The consultant introduced Freddy to an employer within the network of Puls. The introduction pleased both sides. This employer offered Freddy retraining with a job guarantee!

Freddy has now started to obtain the cab pass. Despite the corona-crisis he could just start after he received his lesson books at home. So it turns out a lot is possible after all!
