UWV service
UWV services are for people on benefits who need support in returning to work. Depending on the situation and the goal of the course, this can take the form of various forms of reintegration, such as modular guidance, a Werkfit-traject, Naar Werk or Werkbehoud. The goal is to get people moving, step by step, with guidance that meets their needs - and the requirements of the UWV.
Why is UWV services the right step?
A pathway from the UWV helps people find direction, build confidence and take concrete steps towards employment. Especially when people are far away from the labor market for a long time or have additional problems, professional, personal guidance is essential. Puls offers that guidance - accessible, expert and always tailored to the person and the process.

UWV services at Puls: this is how we work
Our approach is built around attention, customization and expertise. It looks like this:
Counseling close to home
Our counselors work regionally and know the local job market well. This makes our support personal and effective. A permanent Occupational Assessor is available in every region to help think through issues of workload and suitable work.
Support in multiple languages
Puls has a diverse team of multilingual tutors. Thus, we can also support candidates who do not yet speak Dutch well, for example in Polish, Turkish, Arabic or Berber. In this way, counseling remains accessible to everyone.
Smart online support through Jobport
Every candidate gets access to Jobport, an online application tool that allows us to quickly match job openings, share resumes with employers and keep track of progress - for both candidate and contact.
Reflact©: insight into talent
With the Reflact© measurement we map the natural qualities, drives and development points of the candidate. These insights help in making targeted choices and increase the chances of sustainable employment.
Experienced in complex counseling
Our counselors have experience with a variety of audiences, including people with:
- Autism (ASD)
- AD(H)D
- Non-congenital brain injury (NAH)
- Giftedness or high sensitivity
- Low literacy
- Stress symptoms or depressive feelings
Our guidance connects to what a person can do. We think in terms of possibilities, not limitations.
The impact of UWV services at Puls
Our candidates experience space, confidence and grip on their future. They feel seen, dare to take steps and develop towards work that suits them. During the process, you as contact person have a clear view of the progress, with short lines of communication to our team leaders and consultants. This is how we build sustainable results together.

Work retention: support with your new workplace
If you already have a job, but find it difficult to keep your job, Work Retention can be a solution. This program offers short, intensive counseling to ensure that you stay employed and remain sustainably employable.
The UWV distinguishes between two pathways within Work Retention:
- Job retention in salaried work - Guidance for workers who need support to keep their jobs.
- Work retention when working as an independent contractor - Support for self-employed individuals who experience challenges in their work and need guidance.
Job retention in salaried work
Within the Work Retention program, we offer guidance to both you and your new employer to ensure sustainable employability. This could include adjustments in your tasks, a better work-life balance or discussions with your employer about feasible solutions.
We offer customized counseling which focuses on:
- Advice on adjustments in your work - Think about a better division of labor or on-the-job support.
- Support in discussions with your employer - We help discuss adjustments needed to remain sustainably employable.
- Work-life balance - Support in dealing with physical or mental limitations in the workplace.
Together with the candidate and the employer, we look for structural solutions to achieve job retention.
Work retention when working as an independent contractor
Even if you are self-employed, you may encounter challenges. Work retention then offers support with:
- Finding a sustainable work structure - How do you maintain a good balance between work and workload?
- Practical advice on adjusting your work - Think more efficient work processes or setting realistic goals.
- Coaching to stay healthy and productive - Guidance on finding solutions to workload or physical strain.
With Work Retention, we help you not only keep your job, but keep working in a way that suits you.
