2nd track trajectory

The purpose of a 2nd track trajectory is to guide an employee who is (partially) disabled and unable to reintegrate within his own company (1st track) to suitable work with another employer. The 2nd track trajectory is used when it is clear that returning to the employee's own job or other work with the current employer is not possible.

Puls supports employers and employees in this process. Our experienced career and reintegration consultants guide employees towards a sustainable and appropriate place in the labor market, paying attention to their talents, wishes and possibilities.

When is a 2nd track pathway the right step?

The 2nd track trajectory is used when it is clear that reintegration within one's own organization is no longer possible. This may be due to long-term illness, physical or mental limitations or changed circumstances at work.

For the employee, this often means an uncertain period full of questions. For the employer it is important to meet the obligations under the Gatekeeper Act. Puls helps both parties with professional guidance, personal attention and a result-oriented approach.

2nd track trajectory at Puls: here's how we go about it

The process consists of a number of clear steps, tailored to the employee's personal situation:

  • Permanent, regional guidance
The employee receives guidance from a permanent consultant from their own region. Puls has a national network of employers who are open to candidates with a distance to the labor market. This increases the chances of sustainable placement.
  • Mapping opportunities
Together we identify the employee's talents, limitations, interests and experiences. On this basis, a search profile is drawn up with which the employee and the consultant jointly search for suitable opportunities.
  • Job interview coaching and training
We help in preparing or improving the resume, writing a good cover letter and practicing job and networking interviews. This is tailored to the employee's needs and profile.
  • Active job search
Our team of specialized Jobfinders actively supports you in finding job openings, networking opportunities and opportunities in other sectors.
  • Gaining work experience
In some cases, it can be helpful to gain experience in a new direction. This can be done through an internship, work experience position or secondment. A valuable step toward a new field.
